Hit My First 5K Goal Time

How funny is it that I spent all day yesterday thinking it was Wednesday? I posted WIAW thinking I was totally ahead of the game, then went for my Tuesday run. Yep. THAT kinda week. Yesterday I hit my goal of running 5K in under 35 minutes! The best part of reaching a goal is setting new ones. The 35-minute time was just my primary goal for my first month of 5K training. 3-Day Weekend

What a hectic weekend this was! I can’t believe yesterday was my first day off for non-medical reasons in a year. Cleanse Fail & Cardio Win

Day 1 of the 2-Day Cleanse went well, for the most part. Day 2, not so much. To give myself a little credit, this is the second time I’m doing it, and the first time I stuck with it all the way. Yesterday started out great with breakfast, lunch and my two allotted snacks. After work, I went to the gym and could barely get through Insanity without feeling dizzy or seeing stars.
