Top Tips To Maintain Your Youthful Looks

Sure, aging gracefully sounds dignified, but don’t you want age to take it’s own sweet time in catching up? The longer the better actually!

Now, there are some cool ingredients lurking about in your kitchen and on your dressing table that can help you build speed bumps to keep aging at bay, well not forever, but certainly for a good enough time.

Here’s what you can do:

1. For well-conditioned shiny hair

Great hair Tips

Your hair needs food too, especially proteins. In addition to that it’s important to keep it hydrated to maintain its luster and shine.

QUICK DIY: A once a week tip to secure silky hair is ½ cup of mayonnaise, 2 teaspoons of coconut extract and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil (more of it if you have long hair). Apply it over your scalp and roots, and then cover your scalp with a plastic cap for at least 30 minutes. Rinse it off and fall in love with your hair. Vain, I know…but who doesn’t love smooth shiny hair?

2. To get rid of cobwebbed feet

You need to wear closed shoes to cover those cracked heels. Have a look at this DIY tip.

QUICK DIY: While watching your favorite soap every night, massage a paste of Vaseline petroleum jelly flowing in 2 tablespoons of almond oil and a drop of castor oil. Massage in circular motions when you arrive at your heels.

3. To Brighten Up The Skin

Tips For Great skin!

Your skin will look supple and young if you feed it well. Here’s a protein mask that offers just that—food for glowing skin!

QUICK DIY: Apply a paste of oatmeal, honey (half proportion of oatmeal taken) and 1/2 tablespoon of cocoa powder. Keep it on for 20 minutes before rinsing. Oats are a good source of Vitamin E, iron, magnesium, copper and zinc. In fact, in many parts of the world, oats are use for treatments for psoriasis, eczema and dermatitis.

4. Have hearty laughs sans laugh lines

Smiles and laughs cheer everyone up. And you will surely feel more cheerful and confident when laugh lines don’t accompany those full-bodied laughs or happy smiles.

QUICK DIY: Pick up a fork and mash half a banana using it (you can have an evil laugh while doing so). Add 1 teaspoon of fresh cream with a pinch of cocoa powder into the banana that you just conquered. Apply a good amount of this mixture around your mouth, extending up to your jawline. Keep it on for 15 minutes, and then you are all set to flaunt that beautiful smile of yours.
